Celbridge Leixlip LPT Residents Associations Small Project Fund

The Councillors of the Celbridge Leixlip Municipal District have developed a new fund from Local Property Tax for 2021: The Celbridge Leixlip Residents’ Associations Small Projects Fund.

AIM:

The aim of this fund is to allow Residents’ Associations to undertake projects in their housing estates, for example small capital projects or innovative biodiversity projects i.e. moving away from the use of herbicides and pesticides etc.

 VALUE OF GRANTS WHICH MAY BE AWARDED:

The maximum grant that may be awarded is €2,000.

APPLICATION CRITERIA:

As per KCC Grants Schemes Policy plus the following additions:

  • Only one application may be made per estate, with sketch of proposed project as appropriate.
  • This grant scheme is not for grass cutting purposes.
  • This grant scheme is not for community social events.
  • Celbridge Leixlip LPT Residents Associations Small Projects Fund must be acknowledged with all projects.

The closing date for submitting applications is Friday 11th June 2021.

    This is great but very little time given to get a solid application together – I hope the council take this into consideration when assessing the applications.
