Question: Can the council confirm what is the cost to Kildare County Council of installing an EV charging point in the municipal district after the government grant of 75%?

Report: It is not possible to give a definite cost for installation of EV charging points as it would depend on where an EV charger was to be positioned. Any location would need to be assessed having regard to the proximity of an ESB supply and amount of civil works required. It should be noted that the previous Transportation SPC policy is for EV charging points to be provided in Kildare County Council off-street car parks.
