Motion: That the council examine street lighting at the entrance to the estate from Aghards Road to Ballygoran View in the interest of safety of pedestrians and cyclists in the dark, as visibility is reported as being poor.  

Report: The lighting at this location will be assessed as part of the PLEEP (Public  Lighting Energy Efficiency Project), the survey and design of which will commence in  Q2 2023 in County Kildare. The PLEEP Design will identify locations where additional  lighting will be required and depending on availability of funds it will be carried out. In  the interim the request will be listed on the KLIPS (Kildare Lighting Infrastructure  Priority Schedule) register.
