Over 14,500 people have engaged in a range of health and wellbeing initiatives during this time. A Healthy Kildare plan, as part of HI3, was adopted by Kildare LCDC at its’ meeting on September 28 2022. It will be adopted by Kildare CYPSC at their next meeting. This plan sets out a framework and broad health and wellbeing priorities for the county. It will prioritise actions under future Healthy Ireland funding in addition to informing future programmes/plans of the health and wellbeing priorities for the county. The upcoming Local Economic and Community Development Plan (LECP) will consider health priorities (based on this plan) and there has been close co- operation with the draft County Development Planning process.

Copies of the plan have been circulated to the elected members.
